Drum roll please... Melbourne designer, Gwendolynne now at Savvy Brides

Savvy Brides boutique is proud to announce their appointment as exclusive NSW stockist of a range of gowns by renowned Melbourne designer, Gwendolynne Burkin.

Known for her embellished art deco gowns, Gwendolynne is inspired by history, the detail found within the Victorian era and by her sense of adventure mixed with imagination. Fascinated with theatre and the fantasy of becoming someone else, she says, “I get this thrill through wearing clothes, I have a rich fantasy world that still allows me sanity!” The designer says further, “I eschew fashion trends. My design approach is about beauty, touch, romance, love, passion, and feeling. The styling is elegant, sensual and romantic, gorgeous quirky tailoring mixed with fluid shapes. I love the old reinvented with antique style trimmings, fabrics are a constant source of inspiration”. She loves great designers of the early 20th century plus following the works of Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen & John Galliano.

Women who love Gwendolynne’s designs are often design leaders themselves and work within creative fields, her target audience: an elegant woman who appreciates and wears designs of any age and appreciates quality while allowing a degree of creativity and individuality. Prices for these gorgeous gowns range from $3500 to $8000, see www.gwendolynne.com.au for more.
